Our Affiliation Application Form
We become members of the Serbian Orthodox Church by virtue of our acceptance of the Holy Mysteries (Sacraments) of Baptism and Chrismation. After our Baptism and Chrismation, we are allowed to participate in the Church's liturgical worship and partake of the other Holy Mysteries for the remainder of our lives, under the condition that we respect and obey the Church's teachings. We partake of the Holy Mysteries in our local parishes and we are under the spiritual guidance of our Parish Priests. Those parishioners who wish to help make decisions regarding the administrative and material aspects of local church life, must meet the requirements set forth in the Uniform Rules and Regulations governing Parishes and Church School Congregations (SOC U.S.A. and Canada). Parishioners must also meet the moral and spiritual criteria for participation in the Church's sacramental life and demonstrate a willingness to assist the local church materially. The minimum material/monetary obligations are determined by the local parish assembly. This affiliation application defines the different levels of participation in the life of St. Basil of Ostrog. Please complete this application and return it to the church office along with a check in the appropriate amount.
