As we enter our third formal Stewardship campaign, please reaffirm your support for your church by completing the enclosed 2005 Stewardship Pledge form. If you have questions regarding Stewardship or the form, please call the church office and a member of the Stewardship Committee will contact you. The following are common questions and answers about our Stewardship Program at St. Basil Parish which may assist you:
Why do I need to fill out a pledge form?
To help our Trustees create the 2008 Budget, which is required by our Serbian Orthodox Metropolitanate. No matter how large or small your intended donation may be, the Trustees need to know what resources will be available to St. Basil Church during 2005.
Do I have to give my pledge all at once?
No. The pledge form allows you to make pledges in any form you wish: annually, monthly, weekly, etc.
What if I can’t fulfill my pledge?
The Trustees understand that circumstances change during the year and it sometimes becomes impossible to meet our financial obligations. You can decrease or, God-willing, increase your pledge at any time by simply informing our Church Office.
I think I filled out an Affiliation Application in the past. Do I have to submit one again?
No. You need only to submit an Affiliation Application once and notify the church office of any subsequent changes. We ask that you fill out the Stewardship Pledge form annually.
How much does the Church need from every parishioner?
Only you can decide how much you can give. All we ask is that you help the Trustees by sending in your 2008 Pledge Form. In anticipation of receiving your 2008 Pledge Form, we thank you and remain
