Why are we here?
To build and provide facilities so that St. Basil of Ostrog Church becomes a vessel for nurturing Orthodox Christianity and a cultural identity that sustains our children long into their adult lives.
By encouraging our parishioners to actively participate in the salvific and Holy Mysteries (Sacraments) of the Orthodox Church.
By having comprehensible and meaningful church services where parishioners and children participate in church reading and singing.
By establishing a quality educational program for both children and adults, including an Orthodox Christian curriculum and a Serbian language, history and arts curriculum taught by professional educators.
By achieving these goals through a financial program which is based on Christian modes of fundraising: annual stewardship, donations.
